Regal Leisure Homes is set to launch their newly updated Hemsworth Model at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, NEC Birmingham, from 21st to 26th February (Hall 5, Stand 5050).
It will be out on show at the much-loved industry event alongside the new 2023 Cranleigh Lodge and three more models from the Omar Group; the Heron luxury lodge, the Kingfisher lodge and the Newmarket park home.
This exciting new version of the Hemsworth sports a brand-new kitchen layout unique to the industry. Building on all the character of the original, significant additional wow factor has been built into the design theme along with key features to make it even more irresistible to buyers.
The Hemsworth completes the recent series of Regal’s leisure home launches, offering an outstanding and exciting range to suit all tastes and budgets. Sitting between the accessibly-priced Retreat and the scandi-inspired Charmouth, the Hemsworth represents a carefully priced mid-range option packed with eye-catching features.
Historically one of Regal’s best-selling models, the Hemsworth is available in a range of two and three bedroomed layouts including a centre lounge version. This release offers a tempting proposition for park buyers looking for a solid return, with all the style/ panache and extensive storage that potential holiday home owners will love.
Externally the Hemsworth is clad in Champagne aluminium as standard, with white uPVC double glazing and French doors to the front. Further options available include CanExel or vinyl cladding and anthracite windows.
Internally the striking, contemporary design theme has a completely fresh feel, with solid blocks of colour in the feature wall in a cool teal colour, contrasted with warm, dusky pink hues in the soft furnishing. There’s a minimum ceiling height of 7ft and vaulted ceilings throughout, making it feel particularly spacious and light.
On entering, a bench seat with coat hooks over has storage above and below, and it leads into the kitchen/diner. This is arranged to maximise the potential storage, surface area, flow of movement and floor space. The unique layout has purposefully allowed space for domestic-sized kitchen units, a freestanding dining table and four chairs.
Integrated appliances include a fridge-freezer and microwave, oven and four burner hob with built-in cooker hood as standard, and there’s enough space for a slimline dishwasher and washer/dryer as optional extras. Soft close cupboard doors and drawers add to the solid, quality feel, and parquet-effect flooring adds warmth and style underfoot.
A contemporary room divider remains as a key feature of the Hemsworth, defining the shift from kitchen/diner to the lounge space, whilst offering a useful spot for plants, ornaments and the occasional cuppa. In the lounge, the eye is drawn to a TV and storage unit with a striking vertical timber strip feature, ensuring that the most is made of space by hosting the screen on the wall in cinematic style. This leaves the floor space free, making the Hemsworth feel much bigger than most contemporary holiday homes.
A freestanding L-shaped sofa is opposite, with a pull-out occasional bed built in as a useful feature. An accent armchair is included in all models with the exception of the centre lounge layout, and the room is finished with a coffee table, pretty scatter cushions and useful USB sockets.
The master bedroom is a dream with further striking feature walls, a contrasting impact headboard and King-sized bed with drop pendant lighting to either side. There’s a bookcase, bedside cabinets, dressing table and stool against another feature wall, and there’s even a walk-in-wardrobe offering extensive storage space. The additional bedroom/s match, and all come complete with TV point and USB sockets as standard.
The en-suite to the master and main bathroom both feature a stylish, contemporary wash-hand basin with mixer tap, WC, storage cabinets and a fully enclosed shower with sliding glass door. Warmth and continuation in the design is delivered through the flooring, which matches the kitchen.
This striking model is designed to impress, feeling larger than most contemporaries and offering more storage than most.
Regal’s Business Development Director Darren Langston said; “With this new layout, the Hemsworth feels like no other holiday home on the market; it has stunning contemporary design and a home-from-home studio apartment feel in the kitchen and living area. We can see this being our most sought-after model going forward, not just within our range, but amongst peer models with a similar price point. We knew in the design stages that it was going to feel very special, and we hope parks will be as excited about its potential as we are.”
