The Jasmine Precious Interview

Posted by Sell My Group in Insights into the UK Park Industry, February 13, 2025

We chat with Jasmine Precious of Cherry Marketing, to discuss the park industry, her role, and what she likes to do when not working.

Hi Jasmine, thank you for taking part in the interview. Can you tell us a bit about your journey into the park industry – what led you to where you are now?

I was really lucky to start my Marketing journey with Omar. They were a great team to work with and as soon as I started I knew this was an industry I would enjoy. I loved seeing new models and designs and also being able to focus on the social media promotion of them. I then had the pleasure to work for Sell My Group for a little while last year too! This gave me another perspective on the industry which is really helpful. Fast forward a few years I’m still in the industry but for my own company with my partner, Alex.

Tell me about your role?

I lead Cherry Marketing with Alex. My role is mainly marketing but as any other self employed person knows, there is so much admin to do too, so no day is the same!

Where do you like to holiday?

I do love a little city break, but over the last few years I’ve enjoyed a staycation more. We went to Snowdonia in March for my birthday. We stayed in a lovely lodge and climbed Snowdon, it was great. Center Parcs is also a love of mine!

What do you find the most rewarding aspect of your role?

Working with people that don’t really use or understand Social Media and getting them results. Whether this is a lot of organic reach and engagement or setting up lead gen campaigns, it’s nice to know they trust us to do that part for them and put their faith in us!

What has been your favourite professional moment?

Taking the leap to start Cherry. Right at the start, but one of my proudest moments and I’m so glad we did it.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

I’ve always been creative so I’d probably either go to university and train to be an Art Teacher or something pretty wholesome like open a Doggy Day care!

Outside of work, what are some of your interests or hobbies?

Other than going to the gym, being outdoors and running, there isn’t much! I just like a good walk and enjoying the simpler moments to be honest!

Looking ahead do you have any personal and professional goals for the next year?

Professional, I’d just love to grow our business a little bit more so that we get to work with more parks as with our Photography and Videography service, their locations are the best to capture! Personally, I’d just like to carry on being active and maybe put some more time into other little personal projects.

Is there an interesting fact about yourself or achievement people may not know about?

I have a love for tattoos. I have quite a few now and they’re all pretty random. My favourite is my bunny that has sparkly wings!

Who else would you like to be seen interviewed in this series and why?

Anysia from the Regal Leisure Homes team or Michaela from Willowgrove Leisure Park.
